Rogan, Egan & Ryan recommit for 2021

November 11, 2020

Moonee Valley FC is pleased to confirm three more players who have recommitted for 2021 - Dillon Rogan, Luke Egan and Robbie Ryan.

MVFC Senior Coach Shanon Carroll had the following to say on each player:

Robbie Ryan –Extremely frustrating is how Robbie Ryan would describe his 2019 season after a nagging injury persisted to hang around. After discovering a misdiagnosis of his injury, the versatile hard nut has been able to rectify the problem and is now flying and ready to have a crack at reaching the success both he and the FOG deserve. Great to have you up and about again mate.

Dillon Rogan – Smart, fast, and a ground ball specialist is our Whippa. After an electrifying pre-season that had heads turning, Whippa was hampered with injury in season 2019 but continued to push through like a true warrior. Capable of taking apart any backline on his day, we cant wait to see what this elusive small forward can do when fully fit and injury free.

Luke Egan – The ever reliable big man never knows how to give up and that was also evident on grand final day 2019, when he tried to push through injury. A clever analyst of the game and a fit and firing Luke will no doubt have opposition sides looking for match ups on him again in 2021.
