The Moonee Valley Football Club will continue to build and develop our strong junior program in 2024 with 16 junior boys and girls teams currently entered across all age groups (U8s – U16s, +U18.5), and we take immense pride in being one of the best represented clubs in terms of all-girls teams in the EDFL.

The Club remains a leader in the football community, with a growing reputation for excellent coach and player development. Success is measured through resulting improvements in football performance, not just game outcomes. We believe our culture and community sets-us apart from other clubs. Ormond Park is the place to be on Friday nights with Friday Night Bites (meals for players and families), and our vibrant Auskick program.

The “No Ball for Junior Football” supporter campaign is another defining feature of the Club, and it has now been widely adopted by other clubs across the league. We encourage our supporters to use “Great Mark”, “Awesome Tackle” and "Fantastic Kick” instead of yelling “Ball” or “Umpire”. This is supported by the awareness campaign of “Don’t be that Parent”.
